WALTER ALLSTEEL Flap Discs, 5" 40-Grit (10-Pack) Flex steel is the newest addition to the Walter flap disc line. It features a unique zirconia alumina grain blend that micro fractures with less pressure than the grains used in our Endure-Flex product. This means that while Endure-Flex still provides more life and a higher removal rate in most applications, Flex steel actually provides a better solution for workers who use power tools with less than 8.0 Amps of electrical current. These power tools often bog down under pressure, slowing the RPM and causing abrasives to glaze, which significantly reduces the product’s performance. Flex steel allows workers with low power angle grinders to improve their productivity and achieve better results.
